Imagine the Possibilities

For many of you that will read this article the addiction is already part of your daily lives.  For others, that are new to Jeep ownership, considering a Jeep for the first time or just love seeing what time, commitment and hard work can create, then please keep reading (please be advised involuntary drooling has occurred).

So let’s get started shall we!?  One of the Instagram accounts we love to follow is “It Works Off-road” to not only be amazed at where they go and what wheeling they are up to, but to catch a glimpse of the many MODs that they’ve installed.  This Jeeper started out with a simple stock like many of us do and slowly modified to create this one-of-a-kind beast.

Just imagine for a moment that you add the following:

  • Teraflex Control Arms
  • Falcon Nexus Steering Stabilizer
  • Rugged Ridge Winch
  • Factor55 Prolink
  • SPOD
  • Superchips Trail Dash 2

Now combine that with a set complete set of Method Race Wheel 105 Beadlocks combined with 37″ Cooper Discoverer SST tires.  These monsters are capable of supporting this beautiful beast with the help of the Teraflex 3″ Outback Springs and Falcon Series 2.1 Shocks.

Of course, that isn’t it for this transformation!  Steve went ahead and added a Dynatrack Dana44 front axle with ARB air lockers and 4:88 G2 Gears to go along with the Dana44 rear axle with OX Locker and 4:88 G2 Gears.  All of which is tied together with front and rear Synergy track bars and drag link.

All this undercarriage work provides the tools necessary for Steve and the It Works Off-road rig to go exploring no matter the adventure they choose to tackle.  However, you can’t lose sight of the Smittybilt XRC Gen2 front and rear bumpers that are complimented with a Poison Spyder Body Mounted Tire Carrier to carry those massive 37’s. Speaking of carrying?!!! The Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform provides the additional space needed to carry the Krazybeaver Shovel, and other goodies for a long trip out on the trail.

We asked Steve what it was that started his transformation, what was with those green accents, what he would redo and of course what MOD he loves the most.

However, first we wanted to know about the paint job from orange to gray.  This is what Steve told us:

Actually the second wrap for this Jeep.  Have been really happy with how it has held up.  The paint underneath looks factory new and the wrap takes all the abuse from the trail!

A WRAP!?  Wow, that is pretty bad ass and the fact that Steve is representing the It Works company out of Bradenton, FL (he works for them) is even sweeter when the boss supports your Jeep habit.  According to Steve, it has been a “great partnership.”

So, what is it that really drives Steve bonkers?  What is it that he would redo if given the chance to start over?

Goning to a Dana 44 front axle right away. I spent too much money beefing up my 30 only to have it fail.

Ouch!  That hurts, but what about your favorite MOD? Wouldn’t you know it, its those beautiful Method Rims.

Lastly, we wanted to hear from Steve on a few of the brands he has worked with.  This is what he said,

OX Locker I installed in my rear axle has performed really well.  Great company, great customer service great product.

Really love the Rhino Rack that we installed.  By far the best video install and best instruction that we have ever seen.  The product looks great and performs well.  Really changed the way I can carry cargo.

Teraflex/Falcon Shocks worked with the crew at Teraflex and they were able to recommend the perfect springs and shocks for my application.  Great people over there.

So, after all that and some we didn’t even highlight, do you remember what the before and after looks like?  If not, let us show you.
