Axial Smoked Turn Signals

Axial Smoke Turn Signals Off

The Axial Smoked Turn Signals arrived in a no flare box, well packaged and ready to install. The lights themselves are well constructed and offered even more function than I had previously known they contained. The light offers eight (8) LED lights that act as your turn signal, but additionally the vertical bars that are in the light act as your daytime running light.

The install is easy and only requires three (3) tools: wire cutters, pliers and a flat-head screwdriver. To install, disconnect the existing factory turn signals by unplugging the light then remove your grill. Once removed, you can replace the factory lights with the new Axial Smoked Turn Signals. Once installed remove the existing bulb from the factory lights, remove the light bulb and connect the socket to the new lights. Once that is complete, reinstall your grill but don’t fully secure it. You will want to install the resister and then wire the final red wire to the side markers by splicing into the white wire with the green runner.

Finally, after all that is done you can secure your grill back in place and enjoy the new low power function of the LED turn signals with daytime running lights.

Overall, the install shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes and most of that time will be spent removing and reinstalling the grill. The lights themselves are well constructed and air tight to avoid moisture and durable against limbs and other items that might make contact during off-roading (not withstanding rocks, rollovers and crashes).

These lights definitely bring a darker appearance to your Wrangler, but offer a brighter and more functional light than the factory lights. I would recommend if you are looking for a change that doesn’t break the bank at about $40 for the pair this is a good buy to begin transforming your build.
