The Rugged Ridge XHD Front Bumper is a solid construction, great looking and easy installation. I did the whole job in about 3 hours, taking my time! The lines and finished profile is fantastic! The bumper comes with very solid D rings, but if you are installing a stinger or striker, these get left out 😰. Once everything is tightened down, the entire thing looks and feels like you could push thru just about anything and come out on the other end without a scratch.
Having to relocate the vacuum pump. This is most likely the case with any winch bumper and a newer jeep, but once properly moved, the bumper goes on easily. The whole thing weighs quite a bit more than the original bumper, but I haven’t noticed any sag.
I want to send a huge “Thanks” to the folks at Jeepmodreview.com and Rugged Ridge for running the sweepstakes!! They were awesome and very helpful! It was a long wait to install this as the NY winter was long, and my garage isn’t heated. The boxes taunted me daily, and served as a cat perch until recently, when I finally had the time and the weather to install it! I would definitely recommend this bumper and Rugged Ridge to anyone interested in changing out the bumper on their jeep!!
