WRANGLER 392 GETS LOUDER WITH MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST

By Cody U.

If the Jeep Wrangler 392 wasn’t loud enough for you, there is now a  new toy that provides better sound than the stock version in addition to improved exit clearance for those weekend rock crawling adventures. Magnaflow now offers a Jeep Wrangler 392 Rock Crawler Cat-Back exhaust system.

It’s high time Magnaflow developed an exhaust system for the Wrangler 392, which is far and away the most powerful, most rowdy, and most fun factory Jeep on the market today.  Being in the business of making loud vehicles louder, the Magnaflow exhaust system also comes with the company’s famed “No Drone Technology” (NDT) so as not to become an annoyance on longer road trips. The Magnaflow exhaust system is also easy to install, and comes with a 5-step installation guide that mentions the job can be done using a ratchet with 13 and 15mm sockets and a pry bar. You’ll probably clip it on faster than you can build an Ikea couch.

The Rock Crawler Cat-Back series for the JL Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is priced at $1,599, and at the time of this writing free ground shipping is also available. The pipes are constructed of corrosion resistant stainless steel and feature high clearance downward facing tips so as to offer better exit clearance when heading off road and ensure you don’t rip your exhaust tips off. For those who want to turn the volume down a bit, Magnaflow is working on a Jeep Wrangler 392 exhaust kit with switchable secondary muffler.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the only Wrangler with a 6.4L Hemi V8 powering it. Total output comes in at a class-leading 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque which in turn provides a 0-60 time at 4.5 seconds. But you’ll pay a pretty penny for the privilege. Its MSRP is over $70,000, and is priced even higher than the 702 horsepower Ram 1500 TRX. We’re still not sure if that makes any sense, but neither of these vehicles are about sense. They’re about fun.
