The DV8 Offroad Hood (HDFB07) arrived in a huge box and nicely packed, foam spray liner for shipping while wrapped in plastic wrap for shipping to reduce chances of scratching or damage. Made with solid fiberglass, the DV8 Offroad hood built with durability and quality in mind. Before shipping it off to get prepped and painted I performed a fitting and was VERY impressed with the alignment. Many times with fiberglass hoods it is common to find it needs sanding and even some modifications, but NOT this hood. All the brackets, nuts and bolts and windshield washer spray nossel fit spot on. I did have to but an additional sprayer, which was a surprise, but turns out great to ensure windshield washer fluid covering the full window.
Overall, I’ve been looking for a hood for sometime and am blown away by the quality and craftsmanship of the DV8 hood. It brings a strong aggressive stance to my Jeep and combining it with DV8 Off-road Grill makes this a must have. Other companies provide a grill or a hood as a standalone, but DV8 thought through the whole solution.
